Delta Pfeffer, of Neustadt, passed away peacefully at Hanover and District Hospital, Hanover on Tuesday, December 26, 2017. She was 88.
Born in Normanby Township on October 3, 1929 to the late Eldon and "Tena" (nee Braun) Werner. Farming was a huge part of her life and she farmed alongside her husband Harold Pfeffer.
Survived by children Irvin Pfeffer of Lakelet, Linda Charlton of Ayton, Gary Pfeffer of Owen Sound, and Ron (Krista) Pfeffer of Ayton. Loved grandmother of Sara Pfeffer (Nick Pittman), Shawn Pfeffer, Jeff (Stacey) Charlton, Terry Charlton, Trevor Charlton, Troy Charlton, Matthew Charlton (Sandra Dredge), Nicole Charlton, Andrew Pfeffer (Karrissa McCracken), Thomas Pfeffer and Rebecca Pfeffer. Special great grandmother of Violet, Maranda, Hayes, Cody, Jacob, Courtney and Ethan. Fondly remembered by her brothers in law Frank Sachs of Hanover and Rueben Pfeffer of Waterloo as well as many nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by her husband Harold, daughter in law Betty Pfeffer, son in law Carl Charlton and sisters Shirley Schenk, Ima Sachs and Alice Ortman.
To honour Delta's wishes, there will be no visitation or services. A Celebration of Life will follow in the Spring with inurnment in Clifford Cemetery.
