Betty Yolanda Monk, of Hanover, passed away peacefully at The Village Senior's Community, Hanover on Tuesday, December 19, 2017. She was 78.

Born in Holstein on February 1, 1939. Betty worked for P & H on the Line and enjoyed her time there.

Dear mother of Doug Clarke, Roderick (Clara) Monk both of Hanover, daughter Debbra Hutton (Bruce Clark). Special grandmother of Elizabeth Clarke, Nelson Clarke (Jude Gaudreault), Daniel Clarke (Melissa Arsenault), Avery, Lexi, Jessi, Kimberley Hutton and great grandmother of Dylan.  Predeceased by her beloved husband Nelson, sons Ralph and Robert Monk,, brothers Murray Haas, Royden Haas and sister Gwynne Byford.

Visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 10am -11am where a Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am. Interment in Hanover Cemetery.  

Memorial donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
