Bridget (Delia) Massaloup (nee Hughes) of Hanover, passed away peacefully at McVean Lodge in Hanover on Wednesday November 08, 2017. She was 84.

Bridget was born on June 29, 1933 in Glasgow, Scotland to the late Michael and Annie (nee O'Brien) Hughes. She moved to Canada in her early 20’s where she met and married Peter Massaloup. Their family grew with the addition of Marion and Richard. Bridget enjoyed staying at home and watching her children grow. She was proud of all of their accomplishments and took great pride in becoming a grandmother. Bridget also enjoyed her life adventures with Peter, as they travelled the world together and established homes in Ontario, Quebec, Germany, and New Jersey over their years together.

Survived by her daughter Marion Massaloup (David Schellenberger) of Hanover and her son Richard Massaloup (Britta Nessensohn) of Hudson, Quebec. Dearly loved grandmother of Leela, Levina, Devlin and Darci. Fondly remembered by sister-in-law Edith Marchi (Fausto) of Italy. Predeceased by her beloved husband Peter Massaloup and brothers John and Michael Hughes.

In keeping with Bridget's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Private Graveside Service will be held at Hanover Cemetery in the Spring. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover.
