Bernice Eleanor Davey, of Hanover, passed away peacefully at Hanover Care Centre, Hanover on Monday, November 06, 2017, just 20 days before her 95th birthday.
Born November 26, 1922 in Toronto to the late David and Emma (nee Priebe) Davies.
Bernice spent many years working in the bank, volunteering at the hospital, as well as her role as homemaker. Bernice married the love of her life Russel, and together with him, enjoyed her dream trip to Hawaii.
Beloved mother of Susan (Kent) Young of Owen Sound and Jim (Cindy) Davey of Peterborough.
Cherished grandmother of Cory (Jane), Todd (Sandra), Sarah (Mark), Amy (Yvan), Matthew (Amanda); and loving great-grandmother of Spencer, Maximus, Graydon, Isabella, Emily, Lily and Kayla. Predeceased by her beloved husband Russel in 1998.
Bernice was a very special lady; spreading her smile, warmth and love to everyone she met. She will be missed by many. Bernice was lovingly cared for by the staff of Hanover Care Centre, her "extended family" for which we are so grateful.
To honour Bernice's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Family graveside inurnment will be held at Prospect Cemetery, Toronto at a later date.
