June Lemont, of R.R. 2 Walkerton, passed away at Hanover and District Hospital, Hanover on Wednesday, October 04, 2017. She was 86.

Born on May 27, 1931 in Neustadt to the late Hilmar and Arnetta (nee Evers) Helwig. June was employed as a Bookeeper and enjoyed her work. She was a former member of the Neustadt Ladies Institute and Ladies Mission Circle. She was a member of the Hanover Missionary Church, Hanover. June and Harold owned and operated Harold's Garage in Neustadt for many years.

Survived by devoted and loving husband Harold Lemont of R.R. 2 Walkerton, with whom she celebrated many years of marriage. Loved mother of Linda (Brian) Lahn of Shallow Lake and Lois (Dave) Winkler of Oshawa. Much loved grandma of Erin, Lisa, Heather, Jordan, Chelsea, Logan, Annabelle, Lexi and "GG" of eight. Predeceased by her son John Lemont.

Visitation will be held at Hanover Missionary Church, 628-11th Street, Hanover, on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 9 am until time of a Funeral Service at 11:00 am. Rev. Peter Lemont officiating.  Interment in Purdy Cemetery.
