Arthur William Bill Chapman, of Hanover, passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness at Chapman House Hospice, Owen Sound on Friday, August 18, 2017. He was 70.

Born in Brampton on October 12, 1946 to the late Arthur and Doris (nee Wellington) Chapman.

Survived by his special friend Elaine McCann of Hanover. Loved by his sisters Betty Ann Chapman of Durham, Shirley (Bob) Normore of Wasaga Beach and Pat (Howard) Walker of Owen Sound. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by his beloved wife Diane (nee Serre) in 1989.

To honour his wishes, cremation has taken place and inurnment of ashes will be held in Durham Cemetery, Durham at a later date.
