Randy’s cherished dogs, Ali, Mia, and Sydney, provided him with constant companionship and love in the final weeks of his life. Seeing the Pittsburgh Penguins win back to back Stanley Cup Champions (again) was a dream come true. “It’s a great day for hockey” was a quote that Randy lived by.
Randy was a hard, honest worker, who looked forward to going to work every day. He never lost his sense of humour or his appreciation for life and his family, despite his illness. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, son, and friend to all.
Cremation has taken place and a Private Family Graveside Service will be held in the Hanover Cemetery. Family invite friends to a Celebration of Life to honour and share memories on Sunday, October, 1st 2017 at Pike Lake Golf Course, Mount Forest, Ontario, Canada from 1-5 pm.
