Douglas Joseph Weber, of Medicine Hat, Alberta, formerly of Normanby Township, passed away unexpectedly at his home, on Friday, March 21, 2025. He was 64.
Born on July 25, 1960, in London, Ontario, son of Lorne and Noreen (nee Grubb) Weber. Doug was raised in the Neustadt area on a family farm in Normanby Township, and enjoyed farming and working outdoors. Doug eventually moved out west to Alberta to work on cattle ranches as a ranch hand, and retired in Medicine Hat.
Loved son of Noreen Weber of Hanover. Fondly remembered by sister Betty Ann King of Owen Sound, nephews Richard (Bridget) and Josh, and well as many cousins and extended family. Predeceased by his father Lorne Weber.
Cremation has taken place. A Visitation will be held at Holy Family Church, Hanover, on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 10-10:45 am, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 am. Father Romalito Guillen officiating. Inurnment to follow in Holy Family Cemetery, Hanover. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover.
