Theresa Pearl Marsden, of Hanover, passed away at McVean Lodge, Hanover on Friday, March 28, 2025. She was 88.
Born on May 13, 1936 in Creemore, to the late Francis and Annie Mae (Johnson) Moore. Theresa married the love of her life, Russell Marsden, and together they raised 4 children before Russell passed away in 1967. Many will remember Theresa from her years working in the housekeeping departments at Hanover and Southampton hospitals until retiring. She was a long-time member of the Missionary Church in Hanover, and volunteered her help guiding youth at Carrick Camp as well.
Survived by son William (Bonnie) Marsden of Edmonton, Alberta, and daughter Barbara (George Main) Marsden of Hanover. Loved grandmother 'Shorty' of Cathy, Janet (Bev), Angela, Jonathan (Andy), Leslie (Tamara), Rebecca (Chris) and Steven (Joanna), and 14 great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by many brothers and sisters in-law and their families. Predeceased by her husband Russell, sons Terry and Russell (Phyllis), and sister Jo Ann (Paul) Rivais.
A private family visitation will held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, followed by cremation and inurnment in St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Cemetery in Stayner, Ontario.
The family wishes to send a heartfelt thank-you to Kate and all of the dedicated and hardworking staff of McVean Lodge in Hanover for their excellent care for Theresa over the years.
Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

I called/visited Theresa a few times for the Missionary Church. What a sweet and upbeat lady she was. Her cat was the only one ever to like me. Condolences to the families. ~Judy Pitt.
