Francis "Frank" Gordon Hopkin, of Hanover, passed away peacefully at Hanover and District Hospital on Friday, February 14, 2025. He was 76.
Born in Sudbury on June 9, 1948 to the late Francis and Shirley (nee Calford) Hopkin. He enjoyed fishing at his favorite spots, spending time outdoors and feeding the squirrels and bunnies.
Survived by his sons Sean (Lora) Hopkin, Garth (Lori) Hopkin and Shayne (Cheryl) Hopkin. Loved grandfather of Tyler (Molly), Josh (Haileigh), Hope, Brandon (Sydney), Alyssa, Julia (Luke), Dyllan and Cole. Predeceased by his beloved wife Lynda (nee Morrison) Hopkin.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no public visitation or services. A family gathering will take place in the Spring at his favourite spot.
Memorial donations to the Second Chance Animal Sanctuary and Rescue in Owen Sound would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.mightonfuneralhome.ca
