Robert James Menzies, of Hanover, passed away suddenly after complications of a fall on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.  He was 76.

Born in Toronto Ontario on February 19, 1948 to the late Robert and Henrietta (nee McWhinney) Menzies. Robert had a wonderful outlook on life and believed in celebrating every day. He enjoyed his many years on the road as a Trucker and loved spending time with friends and family at Camp Pine Echo in Belmore.

Survived by devoted wife Betty (nee Conklin) Menzies of Hanover. Loved father of Rick Haddow and Stephen Haddow (Debbie). Special gramps of Katelyn, Jessie and Shelby. Remembered by his brother Jim (Tracey) Menzies and sister Karen Menzies as well as his in-laws John (Jeannette) Conklin. Predeceased by his grandson in law Brandon Cox and sister in law Joan Conklin.

To honour his wishes, cremation has taken place with a Celebration of Life to be held in the summer at his favorite Campground.
