It is with great sadness that the family of Roseanne Mary Legate announce her passing at Hanover Hospital on January 7, 2025, in her 81^st year. Rose found joy in creating beautiful knitted, crocheted and cross stitched pieces for her family. She enjoyed outings on her scooter, going to bingo, playing her favorite Nevada Tickets, and spending time with her family.

Loving mother of three children, Liz (Kevin) Brown of Chesley, Ronald (Denise) Perkins of Scarborough, and Leona Prevett of Meridan, England. Proud Nana of Michael (Krista) Lamont, Sherie (Jim) Masters, Derek (Brittany) Brown, Nicole (Jamie) Brown, Chasity Perkins, Alyssa (Jacob) Moore, Zachary Moore, Rachel (Killian) Hughes, and Peyton Prevett.  She is Great-Grandmother to 10 Great-Grandchildren, and Great -Great Grandmother to one Great- Great Grandson.  Survived by her 2^nd husband Gary Prevett, brother Daniel (Kathy) Rate, sister-in-law Janet Rate and brother-in-law Stan Inyoue.

Rose is predeceased by her parents Thomas and Annie Rate, her first husband Ronald Perkins (1990), brother Carmen Rate (2020), sister Shirley Inyoue (2021), grandson Nathan McGurgin (2022) and her husband Clifford Legate (2024)

Cremation has taken place and a private family celebration of life is to be held at a later date. Memorial Donations to the Grey Bruce Animal Shelter or charity of your choosing would be appreciated.
