Nancy, Joel, Louis and families, My condolences for the loss of your father (and mother) in 2024. I remember them as always fun-loving, storytelling, and musical. I'm sure you'll miss them very much, as I've learned after losing our mom (David's sister Margaret) this year. Take care. Catherine Stedman

I just heard about the passing of Uncle David. I was so sad to hear the news. He was such a good man. My mother, Aunt Jocelyn , was so touched by his and your mom's visit before she passed . They were loving , caring, and kind people. Your parents had so much fun together and were so active . Now they are together. We understand how hard it is to have both parents gone. Soon you will remember all the funny things they said and did. My daughter ,Kelly and I send our love and will keep you all in our prayers. Please stay in touch and again we are do sorry for your loss.

Nancy, Joel and Louis
It was my pleasure to know your dad (and mom) since I moved in across the road in 2017. He was a kind and genteel man who loved his family greatly. I know that he is at rest now and reunited with your mom in heaven. May God give you strength in the coming days, and many fond memories to treasure in the future.

I remember Mr. Adams being my Sunday School teacher. He was always patient and kind even to a preteen who wanted the religious lesson to be over and to move on to outdoor pursuits. I was, and still am, friends with his son Louis, who is a stand up man, Anyone who raised an excellent human like Louis is TOPS in my book. Mr. Adams had a home with a pool and he enjoyed seeing Louis and his friends having a good time swimming in it. I know your final years were hard, but, rest in peace David Adams, you deserve it!

As a former Registrar, Deputy Registrar and volunteer with Professional Engineers Ontario, I had the pleasure and privilege of working with Dave Adams over many years. He was always very supportive of me in my various roles at PEO, and was always a pleasure to work with. He was a man of integrity who I admired and who will be greatly missed by his many PEO colleagues and fellow volunteers.

Thank you Nancy for letting me know that your father had died.
Keith & David became friends in 1959 when they were attending the Engineer Meetings in Brantford. Coincidentally I was working with your mom at the Children's Aid . We had many happy times with them.
David was quite the story teller, always got us laughing when he would tell a tale with a very French accent. There was a usually a few chats about the politics of the day as well.

Nancy and family:
We are so sorry to hear about the loss of your father. This has been an extremely difficult year for you as you organized, navigated, and supported both your mother and father in their transitions to care facilities. You have always been a wonderful daughter and advocate for them both, especially in their last years of life. Our hearts go out to you and your family at this time. May God bring you peace, strength and comfort in this time of sorrow. We are holding you in our thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
Linda and Mark
