Craig Hachey of Hanover, ON, formerly of Dalhousie, NB, passed away on December 9, 2024 at the age of 59.
He is survived by his loving wife, Janet Hachey (Munn) and son Joshua Hachey. He is also survived by his parents, Bruce and Shirley Hachey, his sister, Wendy Hachey McClure. Also survived by his mother in law Hilda (Munn) Mott, sisters-in law Bernadine (Fred) Kabbes, Cheryl (Jon) McDonald, Darlene Munn, brothers in law Dale (Wanda) Munn, Philip Munn, Steven (Lisa) Munn and many nieces and nephews and their families. He was predeceased by his brother, Kirby Hachey.
Visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover on Saturday, December 14, 2024 from 2-4:30pm where words of remembrance will commence at 4:30pm.
A visitation will be held at MacMillan & Drapeau Funeral Home in New Brunswick on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 from 1-3pm with a service following from 3:30-4pm. Interment will take place in the spring at New Mills Cemetery, New Brunswick.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to assist the family with expenses related to returning Craig back to his hometown in New Brunswick for burial, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Donations can be forwarded to the funeral home (cash, or cheque payable to Mighton Funeral Home with a note for the Hachey Family). Messages of condolences are welcome at www.mightonfuneralhome.ca

Janet, Joshua, Bruce, Shirley and Wendy. I am so sorry for your lost. Craig was a wonderful husband, dad, son and brother. I am sure he loved you all very much! His generosity of spirit made him a natural leader and his example of integrity and kindness inspired those who knew him, to rise to their better selves.
