Dear family- Larrie recalls the time spent in the same room with Lloyd after heart surgery- How encouraging Lloyd was, and it was there we became friends. That was the beginning of an endearing friendship with him... AND the family. We shall never forget the many times spent at the Heidelberg Hotel over Pigtails and Beer.( lets not forget the Cookcheese). Our love and sincere condolences to all- you are all in our hearts !.Memories remain always.
Darrell and Ronda so sorry for your loss
- Linda WettlauferIt's funny how our minds work and how we recall certain memories of people places and or things.
This is a memory of Lloyd that I've retained for many years.
It was at Harvey Beckers funeral. Lloyd, Jo and myself were standing in line waiting to enter the church when Lloyd leaned over to me and said; "you know Dean, when your dad and I got to together, we drank a lot of beer".
We had a good laugh and I've have never forgotten that memorable comment.
A few years ago at Mountain Trout Camp, I had the pleasure of visiting with Lloyd. We reminisced of days gone by and I remembered the joy I felt reliving the memories of our two families and the bond of our friendships we've developed over the years.
He was a wonderful man and it is with great sadness that I extend my deepest sympathies to all of Lloyd's family.
Dean Hill
My condolences to Terry, Darell, Kim, Vicki and Sherry, their partners and families.
I only met Lloyd later in life through Kim & Pat (my sister), Lloyd seemed to be a kind, caring person with quick wit and humour. From the stories l have heard, Lloyd lived a long, successful and happy life. RIP Lloyd.

- Ryan & Joanne BeckerSo sorry to hear about the passing of Uncle Lloyd. My Mom, Helen Banks, wife of Bev Banks and Georgia's brother, was also sad to hear. (Bev Banks, my Dad, passed in 2018.) What I personally remember is Uncle Lloyd always made you feel important when you saw him, whether at his home or on the street, he would always talk with you. I am sure this will leave a big hole for all of you.
- Michele WardMy sincerest condolences. Hoping your memories and love will bring you comfort during this difficult time.
- Sandra Hall. (Weltz)So sorry to hear of Lloyds passing. i remember getting together with the family when my Dad, lLorne Wilken worked with Lloyd at the factory in Hanover, my sister and I would stay at the house with the kids while our parents headed to the hotel on a Saturday night. Lots of great memories.
- Lori WoodsLloyd and Jo were great neighbours. When my parents lived next door Lloyd would often watch our home and take care of the drive way when my mom was sick in the hospital and Jo would often have a meal waiting. When my wife and I moved back into the neighbourhood Lloyd loved to watch my boys play hockey on the backyard skating rink and would be quick to offer advice or encouragement to the boys. Your parents/grandparents were great people. One could not ask for better neighbours or friends. Our deepest sympathy. Bob, Deb, Meredith, Baxter, Xavier Legace
