Anna Lucille (Dutch) Hopkins, passed away at Rockwood Terrace in Durham on Monday, October 14, 2024. She was 97.
Born in Southampton on July 11, 1927 to William and Hannah (nee Chappell) Beresford.
Beloved mother of Randie (Dolores) Hopkins of Tavistock, Cheryl Fidler of Neustadt and Brad (Marie) Hopkins of Hanover. Loving grandmother of 8, great grandmother of 16 and many great great grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by her husband Max Hopkins, son in law Nelson Fidler, grandson Robbie Fidler, four sisters and two brothers.
Dutch was a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 130 – Hanover and longtime member serving the Ladies Legion Auxiliary. She loved baseball and curling.
A private graveside service will be held at the Hanover Cemetery with Pastor Jenn Brown officiating.
