Robert James “Bob” Rush, of Hanover, passed away after a brief illness at Hanover and District Hospital on Wednesday, July 17, 2024. He was 67.
Born in Durham, Ontario on May 27, 1957 to the late John "Jack" and Shirley (nee Follis) Rush. Better known as Bob to many family and friends, he will be missed. He enjoyed doing construction jobs and enjoying time with his family.
Survived by daughter Stacey Rush , Steve Schulty and step sons Justin Rush, Kale (Niki) Fletcher and Kyle (Amanda) Fletcher. Loved grandpa of Nash, Dominic, Brexton, Colton, Clara, Cooper, Tyson and Kurt.
Dear brother of Harold “Al” (Wendy) Rush and Deann Rush-Deacon (Craig) as well as their children Ryan and Courtney. Remembered by his sister in law Carmel Sims. Predeceased by his parents Shirley and John “Jack” Rush and beloved wife Barbara Fletcher (Rush)
To honour his wishes, there will be no visitation or services. Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations to the Lung Association would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
