Florence Elizabeth Smith passed away at The Village Seniors Community in Hanover on Monday, July 8, 2024. She was 93.
Born in Guelph, Ontario, on September 21, 1930, to the late Leander Hinchberger and Lillian (Heit) Zinger.
Beloved mother of Robert (Kathleen) Smith and Marie (Brad) Hopkins, both of Hanover. Loving grandmother of 11 and great grandmother of 14. Predeceased by her husband Owen Smith, daughters Debbie (Dennis) MacKay and Joann Smith, great grandson James Schleihauf, brother Louie (Sandra Orr) Hinchberger, and Alexander 'Alec' Zinger.
A private family Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024 at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover. Father Romalito Guillen officiating. Interment in Holy Family Cemetery, Hanover.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Village Seniors Community for all their compassion and care for mom. Memorial donations to The Village Seniors Resident’s Fund would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
