Frederick Robert "Bob" Wilson, of Chesley, passed away suddenly at his home on Thursday, April 25, 2024. He was 87.
Born in Toronto on March 14, 1937, to the late Frederick and Elizabeth (nee Mayes) Wilson. Better known as Bob to everyone, he enjoyed his work with Canada Post.
Bob is survived by his daughters Deborah Wilson of London and Wendy (Greg) McCullough of Paisley. Grandpa of Amy, Jason, Christine, Megan, Shelby and Lori as well as many great-grandchildren. He will be fondly remembered by his brothers William (Ginny) Wilson, John (Karen) Wilson, Ross Wilson and Douglas (Christopher Rynberk) Wilson and their families. Predeceased by his parents, his first wife Lorraine Edwardson, second wife Barbara Piggott, daughter Nancy Paulitzki, his brothers James Wilson, and David Wilson, special cousin Ken Hobson, and his golden retriever “fur baby” Duke.
To honour his wishes, cremation has taken place with a private family inurnment in Prospect Cemetery, Toronto
Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Association or your local animal shelter would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Arrangements entrusted to the Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover.
