Joshua James Hutton, of Ayton, passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 4, 2024. He was 39 years old. Born in Owen Sound on January 18, 1985 to Daryl and Faye (Walls) Hutton. Since a young age, Josh loved the outdoors. He loved fishing and hunting as well as four wheeler rides. Josh loved to be accompanied on his adventures by his girls, Leah & Lauryn as well as his nieces and nephews. He described being outside in nature as the place he felt most at peace. Josh looked forward to the annual deer hunt on the family farm and his lucky tree stand never let him down.
Josh loved to enjoy life with his girls whether it was skating, swimming, going to Allen Park Conservation or taking hikes anywhere that nature allowed him. Josh adored Leah and Lauryn and they adored him. He gave his girls the most precious memories that they will cherish forever. Josh and his spouse, Tasha, enjoyed spending time together in their family home where they raised their girls. As a family, they enjoyed taking road trips to beautiful destinations. Whether they were going on a day trip or renting a cottage for a weekend, their time spent together was cherished.
Josh had a big heart and was very compassionate to everyone he crossed paths with. Despite Josh’s own struggles, he always made sure to check in on his friends and family and provide support by letting them know he was there for them. He was able to bring a calm presence to any situation and put your mind at ease whether it was by his funny stories or his contagious smile. Josh’s laugh could lift anyone’s spirit.
Josh worked as a welder and also started a side business called Hutton’s Hardcore Welding where he completed custom fabricating projects. Josh was a man that could complete any project you put in front of him with dedication and joy. His endless skills in life came in handy and he loved teaching his girls everything he could. Josh loved to garden in his backyard, chop wood and have endless bonfires at his home.
Survived by devoted and supportive spouse Natasha “Tasha” Neulitz. Devoted father of Leah (10) and Lauryn (7). Dear son of Daryl and Faye Hutton and son-in-law of Lea-Ann Neulitz and Rob Neulitz. Special grandson of Leona Walls. Forever loved brother of Meggi Hutton and her daughter Niomi and Jesse (Brandy) Hutton and their children Bella and James. Josh will be missed by his brother-in-law Jordan (Kristine) Neulitz and their son Nixon and his sister-in-law Tanya Neulitz and her children Colton, Alexis, Charleigh and Nolan. He was such a special man and will be missed by many friends and extended family. Predeceased by Grandma Arla and Grandpa Tom Hutton as well as Grandpa Jim Walls.
A time of celebration to honour Josh’s life will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations to a Trust Fund for his girls, Leah and Lauryn, would be appreciated as expression of sympathy. Cheques can be made payable to Natasha Neulitz. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.mightonfuneralhome.ca

- Renee TaylorOur Joshy, I don't even know if I can find the words to tell you how incredibly missed you will be. We're going to miss you terribly at every family event, stopping by your house unannounced, seeing your face in the window as we drive by… You were an amazing uncle to my four children, always a good talk with Colton or playing basketball at the park, taking Lexi and Charleigh in when our girls would want to get together after school, and Nolan was obsessed with you- he was your little buddy. I can't imagine my nieces lives without you, you were the best dad to those two little girls. We love you and will forever miss and love you. Until we meet again Joshy…💙
