Tragically, Dale Calvin Leroux of Hanover passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 3, 2024. He was 22.
Loved immensely by his parents Monika Leroux (nee Mann) of Hanover and Calvin Leroux (Kim) of Cobourg. Loved brother of Kaylah Leroux, with whom he shared a typical Brother and Sister bond, and always had each others back as they grew up together. Dale will be missed dearly by the love of his life of 5 years, Natalie McClinchey of Walkerton. Loved by his grandfather Horst (Sylvia) Mann of Hanover. He will be remembered by his uncle Andreas “Putz”(Laura) Mann and their children Owen and Riley as well as his aunt Crystal Leroux and her daughter Taylor all of Hanover. Dale will be fondly remembered by both the Leroux and Mann extended family as well as Natalie’s family. Predeceased by his grandparents Bill and Alice Leroux, Frances Mann as well as his uncle Randy Leroux.
Dale was a fun loving guy. He attended Sacred Heart High School in Walkerton where he would meet Natalie and graduate with the Red Seal Award in Metal Working. He loved to be active and from the age of 6 and learning to skate, it became apparent immediately that he would be a natural. Dale had a long and memorable career playing with Hanover Minor Hockey. Throughout the years, he made countless friends and admired his coaches. In recent years Dale expanded his hobbies to include golf, collecting hockey cards and fishing, which took him on many memorable trips with his friends. His countless adventures with his Brotherhood of friends will be cherished and they will all hold special moments with Dale in their hearts forever. Dale was an employee of KDG Plumbing, where he was in his final year of his Apprenticeship. He was proud of his chosen career, the skills he had learned, and throughly enjoyed what he did and all his co-workers. He had a kindness that not only his family and friends saw, but his animals as well. He turned to a marshmallow when it came to his cats: Missy, Ninja and Will. They often came and purred with him and will miss his gentle cuddles.
