Jean Marie Wright, of Hanover, passed away peacefully at Hanover and District Hospital on Thursday, November 16, 2023. She was 83.
Born in Chesley to the late Eldon and Luella (nee Weltz) Krause. Jean was employed for many years at both Buckeye Factory as well as Hanks Food Basket. She enjoyed people and treasured time with her family.
Survived by her children Judy Wright (George Siegner) of Mildmay, Linda (Ron) Harron, Murray Wright (Brenda Ortman) both of Hanover, Steve (Kelly) Wright of Owen Sound and Brian Wright of Parry Sound. Beloved grandmother of Trevor (Jill), Stephanie (Rob), Kaitlin (John), Derek, Wilson (Kandace), Liam, Mike (Alisa), Wanita, Sandy (Natalie), Kayla (Mitch), Nicole (Ron) and by 14 great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by her sister Ruth Seip and brother Gordon (Maurguerite) Krause both of Chesley. Predeceased by her husband Ronald, great granddaughter Brianna Bauman and brother-in-law Gerald Seip.
A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at the Hanover Cemetery. Pastor Lyndsay McGregor officiating.
Memorial donations to the Cancer Society or to the Hanover & District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
