- Marilyn PatersonDear Glenda and family
It is with much grief that I learned of Wally's passing. I am so very sorry for your loss. I always knew that he was a great man, the likes of which there aren't many left. He was loyal, honest, always did what he said he would, fearless, a true leader, dedicated, smart and self-assured. I considered Wally a patient mentor to me, and never failed to learn something from him. No matter how serious our conversation, it was never over until we shared a joke. I will always think of him fondly and how lucky I was to know him.
Deepest sympathy to the Ellig family. Wally was an excellent plant manager, and always spoke highly of his family whom he was very proud of.
