Brittany Elizabeth Edwards, of Hanover, passed away at Hanover and District Hospital, on Monday, July 10, 2023. She was 23.
Born on October 31, 1999, in Hanover, Ontario, to Jamey Edwards and Jamie Lynn Andrews. Brittany was a beautiful, vibrant, caring, and loving soul. Those who knew her well knew that she was always a friend you could count on and talk to, and always willing to help others. She had a love for all things Harry Potter, and enjoyed various crafts in her spare time. She was proud of her sobriety and successful battle in recovery, and thankful for the many friendships and support networks formed during her journey, and her involvement with Serenity Sisters and other groups in the community.
Survived by her loving mother, Jamie Lynn Andrews, and father Jamey (Lori) Edwards, both of Hanover. Cherished sister of Katrina Edwards, Zoe-Marie Stansbury, Cason Holland, and Jessica Ash, and granddaughter of Mary Andrews, Phylis (Joe) Lane, and Dave Edwards (Lorraine). Fondly remembered by her many aunts, uncles, cousins, and many close friends. Predeceased by her 'papa' David Andrews, and grandmother Sharon Edwards.
A casual Memorial Celebration of Life will be held at the Hanover Legion on Saturday, August 19, 2023 from 2-5 pm. All are welcome to attend.
Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

I never had the pleasure of meeting the beautiful Brittany in person, but knew of her through my daughter Kacey Rothenberg and my precious Granddaughter Scarlett.
Brittany was always spoken of with great admiration and love and will be forever deeply missed in both their lives.
She has been taken from everyone far too soon and there are no words that can bring you enough comfort… but what I do know is that my little angel Scarlett now has a very beloved Angel watching over her. We are thankful for the time we did have with her in our family, and her love, care and gentle heart has made an impact on all our lives. She will always be cherished in our memories
