Bernice Joan Crispin, of Hanover, passed away peacefully at Hanover and District Hospital on Wednesday, June 21, 2023. She was 84.
Born on April 2, 1939 to the late Donald and Emmaline Ward. Bernice could be found frequently at McDonald's in the afternoon to meet up with her crew. She will be missed by many who knew her.
Survived by devoted son Don (Nadine) Crispin of Hanover. Loved grandmother of Keelan (Michael), Brendan (Rachel), Mitchell (Rose), Dawn (Jason), Lynn (Aman); great grandmother of Logan, Charlie, Grey, Kayla, Karrissa, Damien and Ishant as well as 3 great great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by her sister Linda Boland of Sand Point, Nova Scotia. Predeceased by her husband Melville, step children Sandy Kitchen, Garry Crispin, grandson Garry Crispin Jr, and by her brother in law Bob Walker.
To honour her wishes, there will be no visitation or services. Cremation has taken place and a family inurnment of ashes will be held at a later date in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Hanover & District Hospital Foundation (https://www.hdhf.ca/) or to the Rameses Shriners Club (https://ramesesshriners.ca/) were appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

I knew Bernice through our visits to McDonalds and also the Anglican Church. She was fun to be with and we had many talks together. A lovely lady who will be missed.
