Dorothy Marie Agombar, of Hanover, went home to be with the Lord with open arms on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at the Hanover Care Centre. She was 104.
Born on July 28, 1918 in Hanover to the late Joseph and Salome (nee Lobsinger) Bohnert. She is the last surviving member of her family. Dorothy loved music and painting (particularily oil paints) and playing cards and board games to occupy her time and be with friends and family. She was a devoted member of Holy Family Church as well as the CWL and will be missed dearly.
Survived by sons Wayne (Sheila) Agombar of Port Rowan, Gary (Paula) Agombar of Hanover and Christopher (Rick) of Kitchener. Loved grandmother of Trevor, Joe (Tara), Peter, Mark (Kelly) and Cathy and great grandchildren Zach (Tiffany), Nick, Gage, Reece, Madison, Olivia, Ethan and Nick and great great grandmother of Xavier. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her beloved husband Frederick Bert Agombar, son Dennis, great great grandson Oliver and by all her siblings Helen (Vic) McKenty, Rita (Melvin) Beninger, Eleanor Bohnert, Della (Hugh) Schlatman, Herbert (Mabel) Bohnert, Leander (Francis) Bohnert, Isadore (Kay) Bohnert and Wildred (Florence) Bohnert.
Family and friends are invited to a Visitation held at Holy Family Church in Hanover on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 from 10-10:45 am where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am. Interment in Holy Family Cemetery, Hanover.
Memorial donations to St. Vincent de Paul or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover.

Dear Cousin Gary and Family, so sorry to hear of the passing of your Mum, I had the privilege of meeting her and yourself when I stayed with Dennis many years ago, whilst researching the Canadian Branch of our Agombar family.
