Charlotte Colleen Price (nee Bird)
September 13, 1934 - December 24, 2022
With heavy hearts, her family announces the passing of Colleen Price. With her son David and her daughter Cathie by her side, Colleen died peacefully on Christmas Eve. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Peter (October 15, 1931-February 15, 2009), Colleen lived her life to the fullest and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. She is survived by her son David (Lynn), her daughter Cathie (Nigel); her grandchildren Jeff (Danielle), Leslie (Mike), Matt (Kailey), Mark (Laura); and her great grandchildren Josie, Leo, Lucy, and Callen.
May she rest in peace and continue to feel the love and respect we will always have for her.
A celebration of Colleen's life will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 1pm at Grace United Church, Hanover. A time of fellowship and sharing of memories will follow after the service. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Hanover & District Hospital Foundation or to Crohn's and Colitis of Canada would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover.

So sorry for the loss of your mother. Although we did not know her personally, she raised wonderful kind children and that is always a reflection. RIP Colleen.

- Sandra RemusHaving just lost my own dear sister, I can understand just how sad your entire family must be. I have lost 6 sisters and two brothers in the past years and people always tell you time will heal your pain. It does heal the pain but the memories always are with you. Just hang onto the memories, because you never forget just how wonderful the person was. Colleen was a great lady and it is a loss to the world that she is gone. It does get easier, but it takes time.

Colleen was a longtime, enthusiastic member of our Golden Triangle Chapter of Canadian Maple Wings Association (a group of former TCA and Air Canada flight attendants - "stews"). I don't think Colleen missed one luncheon in the over forty years I have know her even though she and the "girls from the North" had the furthest to drive. She has "flown west" to a life free of pain and joins her beloved "Pete". We will miss her infectious laughter and friendship. Our love to the Price family.
