Arthur Brent Aljoe, of Hanover, passed away suddenly at Hanover and District Hospital on Friday, December 16, 2022. He was 67.
Born on May 30, 1955 in Durham Ontario to Arthur and Betty (nee Flewelling) Aljoe. Better known as Brent to his friends, he was employed for many years as a Supervisor for West Bros Furniture in Hanover. He enjoyed all his coworkers and the friendships made over the years. Brent was a caring man that made friends easily and loved to laugh. At every chance he could get, he would be cheering for the Number 1 Team in Canada.... the Montreal Canadiens. His patience and love for his "fur" daughters was second to none. His presence is deeply felt by his cats Zoe and Mya and his golden retriever Elsa.
Heartbroken is his devoted wife of over 47 years Kathy (nee Beckberger) Aljoe of Hanover. Proud father of Jason (Raelynn) Aljoe of Hanover and Corey Aljoe (Amanda Bryson) of Mildmay. His heart was full when his grandkids were born and he enjoyed every minute with his angels: Brandon, Josh, Leena, McKinley, Alaina and Cali. Brent will be missed by his mother Betty (nee Flewelling) Aljoe of Hanover and his siblings Carey Aljoe of Hanover, Deb McFadden of Wallaceburg, Jayne McAdam of Walkerton, Lisa (Marc) Graham of Brampton and Rhonda Aljoe (Mike Seaward) of Mississauga as well as his nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his father Arthur, brother Jeffrey Aljoe and sister Colleen Lerch.
To honour his wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or services. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover.
Memorial donations to the charity of choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
We are deeply sorry to hear of Brent's passing. As neighbors for the passed 8 years, he always had a cheerful hello or wave whenever we saw him. Our thoughts are with the family at this time.
