William Arnold Corlett, of Hanover, passed away peacefully at Hanover and District Hospital on Wednesday, November 16, 2022. He was 89.
Born in Sullivan Township on December 3, 1932, to the late William and Myrtle (nee Boyce) Corlett. Arnold grew up with a hard work ethic, and loved growing up on the farm and life in the country. He worked as a labourer for many different people and companies over the years, mostly in construction. He then later worked for many years in sales for a wholesale plumbing supply company. Those who knew Arnold know that he was a gentle, kind, and friendly soul, and he would always love to stop and chat, and share many stories.
Remembered by his devoted son Allan (Luann) Corlett of Hanover. Predeceased by his beloved wife Ruby (nee Nuhn) and sisters Walterina Mountain, Marjorie Kobe, Joyce Myers, Coralie Corlett and special “fur”friends Hobo and Baxter.
Friends are invited to Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Sunday, November 20, 2022 from 2-4 pm for visitation where a Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 21, 2022 at 11am. Interment to follow in Hanover Cemetery.
