It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Jamie Douglas Crawford, at LHSC Victoria Hospital in London on Saturday, July 30, 2022. He was 45.
Born on October 6, 1976 to Wayne and Pam (nee Evans) Crawford. Jamie was a quiet, shy person until he got to know you. He had a love for the outdoors and could usually find him either under the hood of his car or fishing on the lake. His love for family and friends was second to none. Never too busy to sit and chat and was always proud of his kids.
Survived by devoted fiancée Kim Summers of Tiverton and by his furry companion, Cora. Father of Damian, Breanna and Matt (Alexa) Summers. He will be missed immensely by his mother Pam Crawford and grandmother Norma Crawford. Special son in law of Robert Summers (Rose) and Shari (Rob) Fraser. Dear brother of Kim (Jesse) Lamoureaux and brother in law of Angela Summers-Sim. Jamie was the kind of Uncle that would get on the floor and play dolls or cars. Missing him terribly are Travis, Dominic, Josh and Alana. He was always up for a drive and talking about cars. He loved to fish on a nice evening and then brag that the biggest catch just “happened” to get away. He will be missed by many friends that became family over the years. Predeceased by his father Wayne Crawford, mother in law Connie Sims-Summers, Grandfather Gerry Crawford, Uncle Mike, his nephew Myles and his very best friend Norm Matchett.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 from 10:00am-11:45am. A Funeral Service will follow at 12 noon. To honour his wishes, cremation will follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations (made payable to Mighton Funeral Home) to assist with Funeral expenses would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

My favorite memory is when you came to the hunt camp with Allison,me and my friend Sarah and you hooked me with the fishing lure! You and Sarah thought it was hilarious! Hard to believe you are gone cousin.
Thoughts are with your family that I never had the chance to meet and with your mom and sister.
