I will always remember aunt Marylou as a loving person that knew how to make you feel special. She was truly happy for everyone and the good things that were happening in your life.
She was also such a talented, creative person. She made such beautiful cakes, and was famous for her delicious wacky cakes. 💕
When I was a little girl, I remember seeing her Christmas tree. She had made a lot of the decorations herself. The tree was so fascinating, I could look at it for hours. She was an inspiration for my own Christmas trees. I wanted them to be as interesting as hers, and I try to make them detailed and unique, like she did.
I will always remember the beautiful shortbread cookies that she would make with my uncle Donny, her famous Waldorf salad and her special chocolates that she would make at Christmas. She knew how much my husband loved the peanut butter ones, and she would make him a special batch. She always spent time with me at occasions, and helped make me feel included. And she always made me feel special.
I will really miss you. I love you. I hope you are happy living in your paradise with Jesus, and all your family that have gone home before you. I know you will watch over all of us.
I will pray for strength for my loved uncle Donny, your wonderful son Todd, his beautiful wife Amy, your cherished grandchildren, and all of your loving family.
It was a privilege to call you my aunt. I love you.
