Wyatt ‘Sandy’ Limebeer, of Hanover, passed away at SBGHC – Durham Hospital, on Saturday, July 2, 2022. He was 73.
Born on March 20, 1949, in Guelph, Ontario, to William and Anastasia (nee MacDonald) Limebeer. After 'Sandy’ completed a time in the military, he graduated from teachers college. However, he followed his father’s footsteps and began his long and rewarding career in corrections.
Survived by his loving wife Kathy of Hanover, daughters Sherri Porter of Hanover, and Kerri (Dan) Fitchett of Guelph, and mother Anastasia Limebeer. Cherished grandpa of Justin (Cassie), Nathan, Karleigh, Joshua, and Zachary, and great-grandpa of Charlea. Fondly remembered by sisters Moira (Doug) Birdwise of Ottawa, and Gwen Limebeer of Guelph. Predeceased by his father William Limebeer.
As per Sandy’s wishes, cremation has taken place, with inurnment to follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery Columbarium, Mildmay. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover.
Memorial donations to the Ontario S.P.C.A. Animal Centres or a Charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
Deepest sympathy to all of Sandy's family on his passing. It has been many years since our paths have crossed, but I have fond memories of him when we stayed in Germany in the 60's.
