WISEMAN
Edward Wiseman, of Hanover, passed away peacefully at The Village Senior's Community in Hanover on Thursday, June 30, 2022. He was 91.
Born in Normanby Township on June 26, 1931 to the late Jacob and Mathilda (nee Liesemer) Wiseman. Edward was a dairy farmer and enjoyed logging as well. He logged hard wood and raised his family with the love of his life of whom he just celebrated 70 years together.
Survived by loving and devoted wife Joyce (nee Schenk) Wiseman of Hanover. Father of Doug (Myra) Wiseman of Owen Sound, Deanna Wiseman of Kitchener, Janice Wiseman (Ray O'Brien) of Hanover, Jeff Wiseman (Kim) of Elmira and Laurie Wiseman (Todd Campbell) of Waterloo. Special Grandpa of Bethany (Brendan Derry), Holly (Robin Salter), Jacob, Emma and Zachery, and Great Grandpa to Charlie, Miles, Allegra and Finnian. Fondly remembered by his sister Isabel Wilkin of Hanover and by his brother Pastor Lloyd (Dale) Wiseman of Kitchener, and by his many nieces, nephews and their families, as well as the Schenk Side of the family. Predeceased by his brother, Conrad Wiseman and sister, Anna Lantz.
To honour his wishes, a private family visitation and Funeral Service was held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover. Rev. Pam McNeil officiated. Interment in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Normanby Township.
Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Association were appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
We are so sad to hear of the passing of Ed. He would always greet you with the warmest smile and his soft spoken words.
