William "Bill" George Leith, of Brockton, passed away peacefully at St. Mary's General Hospital in Kitchener on Monday, June 20, 2022 at the age of 77.
Born in Listowel, Ontario on January 29, 1945 to the late George and Helen (nee Reinwald) Leith. Better known as Bill to most family and friends, he was a courier driver and enjoyed his time on the road. He loved travelling so much that for the last 9 years, he was a volunteer driver for Home & Community Support Services. His passion was for family but also had a great love for all motorcycles and antique cars. He was very laid back but enjoyed his social outings and will be dearly missed.
Survived by devoted wife Delores (nee Dietz) of Brockton. Dear father of John (Rosie) Leith of Chelsey and son in law Timothy Crawford of Kincardine. He will be missed by his fur-baby "Baxter". Bill was the last surviving member of his family and will be remembered by his nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents, son Jeffrey "Jeff" and by his brother Paul Leith and sister Betty.
A Celebration of Life will be at the Royal Canadian Legion in Hanover on Sunday, June 26, 2022 held from 1-4pm with sharing of memories at 2:00 pm.
Memorial donations to the Durham Hospital Foundation, Hanover & District Hospital Foundation or to the Humane Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.mightonfuneralhome.ca
