Patricia “Pat” Purdy (nee Hymas), of Hanover, passed away after a lengthy illness at Hanover and District Hospital on Tuesday, May 31, 2022. She was 56.

Born on August 14, 1965 in East York Township to George "Michael" and Dorothy (nee Bartlett) Hymas.

Survived by devoted husband Joseph of Hanover. Dear mother of Sarah Purdy (Josh Harvey) of London and Michelle (Steve) Yorke of Sarnia. Nothing gave her more of a lift in spirits when down than her grandchildren; Ryker, Rowan, Remington, Jakob, Jarrod and Payton. Fondly remembered by her mother Dorothy Hymas of Hanover and siblings Ron Hymas of Peterborough and Chris (Carol) Hymas of Durham. She will be remembered by Joe's family and extended friends and family. Predeceased by her father George Allen "Michael" and by her brother Tom Hymas.

Family and friends are invited to a Memorial visitation held at Holy Family Church in Hanover on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 10-10:45 am where a Mass will be celebrated at 11 am. Cremation has taken place with inurnment in Douglas Hill Cemetery, Walkerton.  

Memorial donations to the Children’s Hospital would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover.
