Dear Irene has been my friend for many years having met her through my mother-in-law Florence Paton and Jim of Wiarton. We had many good visits together and always kept in touch over visits, phone calls and cards we shared with each other. My late parents Herb and Doris Beacock grew fond of Irene as well. I admired her greatly. My condolences to you Kurk, Allan and Lynn and your family. Sincerely, Elaine Paton
- Elaine PatonOur very deepest sympathies on Irene's passing. Glad she was able to celebrate her 100th birthday. My parents drove bus for Elmer and Irene for many years and when we got married in 1977, they took pleasure in hiding our car for us in the bus garage with the guard dog during the reception so that no one could fill it with confetti. They were a lovely couple and Irene was a sweetheart.
