Ilse Sorensen, of Hanover, passed away at Saugeen Villa Nursing Home in  Hanover on Monday, May 23, 2022. She was 91.

Born in Germany on November 10, 1930 to the late Adam and Magdalena Reusch. After spending time in Germany, she moved on to England, caring for others, and then immigrated to Canada where she met the love of her life, Soren.

Survived by loving husband Soren Sorensen of Hanover. Dear mother of Birgit (Don) Bradford of Chesley, Linda Sorensen (Joe Viveiros) of Toronto and Sandra (Jim) Svensson of Parry Sound. Loved Oma of Matthew (Awei), Joshua (Vika), Karissa (Ryan), Daniel (Melissa), Bethany (Jared), Joel (Taylor), Alex (Jess), Nick, Kassie, Paul, Cory (Kej), Greg (Vanessa) and Lacy (Matt) as well as her great grandchildren Charlie, Joseph, Russell, Audrey, Isla, Cole, Thomas, Bella, Jorja, Connor, Cameron, Nicole, Chloe, Kyra, William, Lukas, Hannah, Felix, Zoe and Dexter.  Fondly remembered by her sister Helga Novak of Peterborough. Predeceased by her parents, her beloved son Harry Sorensen and sisters Ruth and Annalisa.

Family and friends are invited to Visitation on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Mulock Christian Fellowship Church in Bentinck from 12 noon until 12:45, where a Funeral Service will commence at 1pm.

Cremation to follow.
