Joseph Caskanette, of Hanover, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, April 06, 2022.  He was 79. 

Born in London, Ontario on October 10, 1942. Joe will be remembered as a cook when he was employed at Frankie's in Hanover. 

Survived by by loving partner for over 20 years, Florence (nee Schlosser) Smith of Hanover. Dear father of Bryan Caskanette of Atwood, Shelley (Doug) Zettler of Walkerton and Allan Caskanette of B.C. and step father of Jennifer (Josh) Zettler and Stanley Smith. Joe was a special grandpa and will be missed by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by his aunt Rita Dosman of Hanover. Predeceased by his parents and all his siblings. 

A public Visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 2-4 pm. Cremation has taken place.
