WENDORF
                              
Mabel Martha Wendorf (nee Manto), of Walkerton, passed away peacefully at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie on Wednesday, April 6, 2022. She was 94. 

Born in Hanover on April 18, 1927 to the late John and Martha (nee Baetz) Manto. Mabel will be remembered as a cook for both the former John Diefenbaker School as well as with the Hanover & District Hospital. 

Survived by daughters Shirley (Colin) Read, Mary Lou (Peter) Bortoluzzi and sons Bernard (Cindy) Wendorf and Dan (Tammy) Wendorf. Loved Nana of Rachel (Drew), James (Dora), Samantha (Mark) and Adam  (Christine) and special great Nana of Jackson, Hannah and C.J. Fondly remembered by her sister Shirley (Dave) Deschene of Owen Sound and by her brother Stan (Pauline) Manto of Gatineau, Quebec. Predeceased by her beloved husband Barney and siblings Leonard, Manley and Jean 

Visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Monday, April 11, 2022 from 11am until 12 noon where a Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 noon. At the  request of the family, they ask that all those attending the funeral home for visitation or services to please wear a mask.
