Bradley "Brad" Sprague, of Hanover, passed away at Hanover and District Hospital after a lengthy illness with Cancer, on Tuesday, March 15, 2022.  He was 59.

Born on April 9, 1962 in Toronto to the late Bill and Helen (nee Bucholtz) Sprague. Many in town will know Brad for his friendly smile and gentle ways with everyone he met. He was a friend that would help anyone in need and was fond of helping others. His smile was infectious and you couldn’t help but want to help him with his many events planned helping the community. His efforts for the Food Bank and Salvation Army were done with true intentions and not for an ounce of acknowledgement or thanks. Darlene was always by his side whether it was helping at Camp Sprague-a-way in the kitchen (making the best breakfast in town) or just being there for him. He had a soft spot for children and enjoyed trying to make their camping experience a great one while staying at the campground.

Survived by devoted wife Darlene (nee Brown) Sprague of Hanover. Loved father of Joshua (Michele McGilveray) of Durham and Hayley Sprague of Hanover. Special ‘grampy’ of his two loves Nathan and Abby Sprague. He will be remembered by countless, family and friends that became family over the years. Predeceased by his parents.

To honour his wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover.
