Eileen Francis Horrigan, of Fordwich, passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Saturday, February 26, 2022.  She was 94.

Born outside of Ayton on September 8, 1927 to the late Lawrence and Margaret (nee Culliton) Horrigan. Eileen was a telephone operator for Grand River Hospital in Kitchener for many years. When her health failed she moved to the Fordwich Village Nursing Home. She enjoyed the staff and residents as they always brought a smile to her face.

Survived by brother Patrick (Joan) Horrigan of Ayton and several nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents, brother Michael and sister Marguerite McDaid.

A public Visitation will be held at Holy Family Church in Hanover, on Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 10-10:30am where a Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am. Father Emmanuel Azike officiating.

Interment in Holy Family Cemetery, Hanover, ON.

Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
