Morris William Ashbury, of RR#2 Walkerton, passed away peacefully at Elgin Abbey Long Term Care in Chesley on Monday, February 07, 2022. He was 93.
Born on March 12, 1928 to the late Charles and Christina (nee Kobe) Ashbury. Morris was a lineman for Hydro for many years. He was also a past member of the Hanover Masonic Lodge. Many in Hanover will remember Morris as "Morry" from Morry's Trailer Service.
Survived by loving wife Marie (nee Karlson) of RR#2 Walkerton. Dear father of Charles Ashbury (Sharon Broughton) of Mildmay, Eric Ashbury of Walkerton and Kristine (Andrew) Corolis of St. Catharines. Loved grandfather of Michael, Charles, Jana, Nicholas, Lindsay, Brittany and William as well as several great grandchildren. Predeceased by his daughter Nancy Ashbury, brothers Gerald, Stanley and Britton as well as sisters Olive Gruhl, Gladys Greenwood and Betty Ashbury.
A Private Family Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 11:00 am, at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover.
