Isobel Holland (nee Walker), of Hanover, passed away peacefully at McVean Lodge in Hanover on Saturday, September 18, 2021. She was 88. 

Born in Turnberry Township, Huron County, daughter of the late Norman and Myrtle (Hollenbeck) Walker.  Isobel was a primary school teacher at James A. Magee until retiring. 

Survived by sisters Joyce Leigh of Elliot Lake and Gloria and Ted Skowby of Stratford. Remembered by her God-daughter Stephanie Litt. Isobel will be remembered by her 6 nephews, 4 nieces and their families. She held a special place in her heart for dear friends Lorne and Therese Litt and Ray and Inga Bolt both of Hanover.  Predeceased by her husband Harvey,  parents, sister Dorothy and Hugh McKone, sister in law Melva and William Glasser, brother in law Ronald Leigh and nephew Guy McKone. 

A public visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 from 10-10:45 am.  A Private Family Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 11:00 am.  Rev. Fred Ludolph officiating.  Interment in Hanover Cemetery.

Memorial donations to the St. Peter's Lutheran Church or to the Hanover & District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
