Dr. George Sittlinger, of Hanover, passed away peacefully at Hanover & District Hospital on Sunday, August 29, 2021.  He was 97. 

Born on March 1, 1924 in Austria to the late George and Johanna Sittlinger. Many will remember Dr. George as their Family Doctor in Hanover and prior to that, Red Rock Ontario. 

Survived by loving wife, Edith (nee Bernard) Sittlinger of Hanover. Dear father of Edith (Jerry) King of North Carolina, George (Elaine) Sittlinger and Bernard (Tammy) Sittlinger both of Oshawa. Loved grandfather of 7 and great grandfather of 4. He will be fondly remembered by his brother Ernest Sittlinger of Surrey, B.C. Predeceased by his brother Siegfried and sister Johanna Taurer. 

To honour his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or services at this time.
