Helen Marie Elizabeth Kraft, of Hanover, passed away at Hanover Care Centre, on Wednesday, August 11th, 2021. She was 90.
Born in Chesley, Ontario, on June 28th, 1931, to the late Cecil and Lena (nee Klages) Wendorf. Helen was known for her friendly smile, and many will remember her from her time working for Buckeye Pearless and Knechtels in Hanover, and volunteering as a member with the Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
Survived by daughter Susan (Gary) Kennedy of Winnipeg, Manitoba, and son David (Carol) Kraft of Hanover. Cherished grandmother of Lacey, Dustin, Ronna, Bryan, Lisa, and Rob. Loved great grandma of 10 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Merle Kraft, daughter Wendy Kraft, sister Betty Breadner, brother Harold "Windy" Wendorf and grandson in-law Rob Fidler.
A Public Visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Thursday, August 19th, from 11 am - 12:45 pm. Those wishing to attend may call the funeral home during business hours to register ahead (519-364-3660). Interment to follow in Hanover Cemetery.
Sue & Lacey will be receiving family & friends back at the “Fidler” Ranch, 012557 Grey Rd. 10, Neustadt (Sign at end of laneway says “Fidler’s Lane”), from 2 pm – 4 pm, following internment at the cemetery.
