It is with broken hearts that we announce that Liza Andrade-Clifford has been granted her wings and ascended into Heaven on Saturday evening, July 10, 2021 due to complications from COVID-19.
Liza was born in Toronto on March 31, 1968 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She graduated from Bickford Park High School in 1987. Liza was very proud of her Portuguese Heritage and was sure to pass down customs and values to her daughter. She loved watching the home team play soccer (football) and was certainly a proud fan. Loving all things craft related, she would often be seen with friends going to various outlets and shows to purchase more balls of yarn or supplies. She made endless treasures and shared her talents with her family and community. Most youth in Hanover will remember her as “Malak” at one time or another as they passed through the ranks with 5th Hanover Scouting.
Devastated and loved by her husband Thomas Clifford and daughter Catarina “Cat” and son in law Blaze Quinn both of Hanover. Fondly remembered by her father Manuel Andrade, sister Christina Ramos, brother Joe Andrade and brother in law Nelson Ramos. Loved by her nephew Christopher Ramos and sister in law Crystal James and their families. Liza will be treasured by Charlene Karl, whom was chosen as Catarina’s God-Mother.
To honour her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life BBQ will follow at a later date.
Arrangements entrusted to the care of Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover.
