Eleanora "Ellie" Becker, of Hanover, passed away at Hanover and District Hospital on Tuesday, July 31, 2018. She was 88.

Born in Brant Township, daughter of the late David and Magdelena (nee Rhody) Wilken. She was a member of E.L.W. and Queens Bush Chorus. Always remembered for her kindness and smile on her face.

Survived by her loving grandchildren Stephanie Steward (Keith Engel) of Hanover, Tammy (Ross) Price of Elmwood, Patricia Kieswetter of Brant Township, Adam (Shawna) Becker of Waterloo, Jessica (Bill) Ioannou of Guelph, Jeffrey (Kerri) Becker of Oakville, Annette (Jason) Colling of Grimsby. Ellie had a special place in her heart for all her great grandchildren; Dakota, Quinton, Makala, Nicholas, Marley, Sydney, Spencer, Brooklyn, Jada, Lily , Fawn, Zoe, Max, Travis, Jennifer, Jessica, and her great great grandchildren Gavin, Brynlee, Quin, Avery, Diem and Coleton. Ellie will be missed by her sisters in law Dorothy Wilken of Elmwood and Audrey Atkinson of Petersburg. Ellie had a special place in her heart and forever greatful for her special angels Christine and Janice. Predeceased by her beloved husband Robert, sons Donald, Robert, Ken, Allan, daughter Nancy Steward, sisters Doris Tuttle, Selina Lee (Lloyd), Marion Catto and brothers David and Carl Wilken.

Visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm.  A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at 11:00 am, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church - Brant Township (Sideroad 30 - Concession 5, Lot 31 Brant Township) Pastor Hannes Aasa officiating. Interment in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Brant Township.
