Shirley Jean Taylor, passed away peacefully at Brucelea Haven, Walkerton on Friday, July 13, 2018. She was 89.

Born in Hanover, daughter of the late Elmer and Ellen (McGirr) Weidner. Shirley was an associate member of the Brussels Legion Branch # 218.

Survived by daughters Debbie (Bill) Eidt, Kim (Jim) Oehring both of Walkerton and Shari (Bill) McChesney of Bayfield. Loved grandmother of Paul, Heather, Chrissy, Angela, Jamie, Jennifer, Michelle, and John and numerous great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by her sisters in law Audrey (Lance) Weidner of Hanover and Kay (Max) Demaray of Bayfield.

Predeceased by her husband David, son Dale Weis, grandson Jeremy Oehring, brothers George, Lance and her sister Lois (Art) Lobsinger.

Visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from 10am until time of a Memorial Celebration of Life  at 11:00 am. Pastor Lyndsay McGregor officiating. Cremation has taken place with Inurnment in Hanover Cemetery.

Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
