Gloria Koebel, of Hanover, passed away suddenly at her home on Sunday, June 24, 2018. She was 74. 　

Born in Hanover on December 1, 1943, to the late Arthur and Martha (nee Allenson) Hafermehl. Gloria was employed with Canada Post, retiring after 27 years of service.

Loved by daughter Trina Fidler (Michael Thompson) of R#3 Elmwood, son Steven Koebel (Lauren Kent) of R#2 Walkerton and daughter in law Shelly Koebel (Raymond Wright) of R#3 Hanover. Loved grandmother ("Drammie") of Ryley (Hannah), Peyton, Blake, Randi (Matt), Shane, and Alix. Dearly missed by her sisters Carol (Paul) Koebel, Sandra (Wayne) Munro, Pat Becker, all of Hanover and Mary-Jane Brown (Harold McMann) of Owen Sound. Fondly remembered by several nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her beloved husband John, son James Koebel and brother in law Ivan Becker.

Family and friends will be received at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, from 10 am until the time of a Funeral Service at 11:00 am. Rev. John Polacok officiating. Interment alongside her husband in Holy Family Cemetery, Hanover.
