Alan Harry Lantz, of Crawford, passed away one day after his birthday at SBGHC - Durham on Saturday, June 2, 2018. He was 77.

Born on June 1, 1941 in Linwood, Ontario to the late Harry and Ila (nee Deckert) Lantz. Alan wed the love of his life Diane (nee Sills) and began their future by raising a family. Alan was employed for Revenue Canada as an accountant for his working career. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and the Elmwood Seniors for many years and enjoyed many friendships and connections that he made.

Survived by loving wife Diane (nee Sills) of Elmwood, with whom he celebrated 50 years of marriage just last year. Dear father of Paul Lantz (Kerri O'Brien) of Red Deer, Alberta, Van Lantz (Mary Whiteside-Lantz) of Fredericton, New Brunswick and Lisa Lantz of London. Missing lots of hugs and smiles of grandpa are Cole, Graydon, Maria, Heidi, Mason and Chad. Predeceased by his parents.

Visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 from 6-8 pm.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 11:00 am, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, (1036 Gordon Hain Street, Linwood, ON.) Interment in St. Peter's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Linwood.
